IOT Attendance Tracker

This device was developed to track digitally the attendance of the QBIC FabLab members and the purpose of their visits. It does so through reading their membership card, taking their inputs through push buttons and logging this data to an online spreadsheet.

 

The electronics list of this project includes a wifi-enabled NodeMCU board, secondary Arduino Nano board, RFID reader, LCD screen, speaker, 8 push-buttons, solderable breadboard, 1 toggle switch (power) and a 5V USB power cable. 

 

The fabrication processes involved in this project are; 3D printing, Vinyl cutting, painting/finishing, soldering and fastening. This project was done by me in a 72-hour timeframe.
